Gary's secret for writing great ad copy
Gary gave this short piece of advice over and over again.

He's talking about space ads, but this approach works in every medium.
Contrary to popular belief - wild headlines aside - Gary's actual ad copy was usually understated and modest. What he did do was tell his story sales thoroughly with a lot of life and imagination.
When you sell like this, you actually sell more powerfully because you give the prospect a chance to sell himself. If you come at people with a sledge hammer, they tend to back away. Tell them a fascinating, detailed story related to something they want and they edge closer.
